CHESTNUT HILL, Boston – Marist women's swimming and diving fell to Boston College at Flynn Complex pool Saturday afternoon 224-76. With the loss, the Red Foxes sit at 4-6 overall.
- Just two days after breaking the school 1-meter record, Sophomore Esabelle Gervasio earned wins on the 1-and 3-meter boards with scores of 232.2 and 258.67
- Sophomore Grace Reeves rounded out the top three on the 1-meter with a score of 225.15 to take third.
- Sophomore Heather Hartmann had one of the best individual performances of a swimmer, placing first in the 1000-yard freestyle and second in the 500-yard freestyle. Her time of 10:47.32 was over 11 seconds faster than the next faster swimmer.
- Junior Juliet Nowak finished third in the 200-yard backstroke while freshman Amanda Poor finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke.
The Red Foxes will host their last home meet of the season against Southern Connecticut State at McCann Natatorium on Saturday, January 19 at 1 p.m. Prior to the start of the meet, Marist will honor its seniors.
