POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – After returning from their annual training trip in Orlando, Florida, Marist Swimming and Diving will host Binghamton at McCann Natatorium on Thursday, January 10 at 5 p.m.

Swimming and Diving spent six days during the break training in preparation for the second half of the season. Swimmers trained in an Olympic sized pool at the Orlando YMCA Aquatic Center. The divers utilized platformers for drills and partook in dry land training which included trampolines and spring boards for flipping.

The men's squad (3-0) and the women's squad (4-0) recently competed at the Florida International Sprint Invitational, placing second and third respectively. Both teams have taken down MAAC foes Niagara and Canisius in dual meets with the women's team also defeating Siena.

Esabelle Gervasio has been the best diver in the conference, posting the top scores in both the 1- and 3-meter so far.
Juliet Nowak has had an incredible junior year and currently leads the conference in the 200-yard backstroke.
Michael O'Donovan has been one of the top distance swimmers, swimming the second fastest times in the conference in the 500- and 1650-yard freestyle.
