POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Women's Soccer starts a three-game road swing with a visit to its local rival up north in Siena on Saturday, October 12 at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

• Marist wrapped up its three-game stay in Poughkeepsie with a 3-0 win over Niagara on October 9.
• Junior Nicole Sasso scored twice, with senior Alexa Svensson assisting on both tallies. Junior Katey Samarro also found the back of the net in the second half.
• The Red Foxes recorded their fourth shutout of 2019.

• With her two helpers, Svensson moved into a tie for first place on Marist's all-time list with Rycke Guiney, '14.

HOME FIELD

• Wednesday's win over Niagara gives Marist a 3-2-1 record at Tenney Stadium this season.
• With one more home game remaining in the regular season, Marist is guaranteed to finish .500 or better at home in the regular season for the fifth consecutive year.

• The Red Foxes sit in fourth place in the MAAC with five regular season matches remaining on their schedule.
• Of the teams currently above them, Monmouth and Rider hold tiebreakers thanks to wins over Marist. The Red and White have yet to play Fairfield, who also has a game in hand.

SCOUTING SIENA

• The Saints enter Saturday with a 2-2-1 MAAC record and 4-7-3 overall.
• Siena comes off a 1-0, double-overtime loss to Monmouth after picking up wins over Canisius and Iona.
• Amber Alfonzo holds the team lead with seven points and shares the goals lead with Ashleigh Sarafin at three.
• 2018 MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year Taylor Dorado sports a 1.35 goals-against average and .794 save percentage.
• This is a rematch of the 2018 MAAC Semifinals, which Siena won 2-0 in Poughkeepsie. Marist took the regular season meeting by the same score.
• Marist seeks its first win in Loudonville, NY since 2011.
