POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Marist men's soccer (6-6, 3-2 MAAC) will host Saint Peter's (8-5, 5-1)Â on Wednesday night in a battle of the two hottest teams in the conference. The Red Foxes defeated Manhattan on the road to extend their win streak to three, while the Peacocks topped Iona to extend their run to five.

- Marist scored the deciding goal in the final seconds at Manhattan on Saturday to earn a 3-2 victory.
- Senior Samad Bounthong got the offense started with a goal in the 34th minute off an assist from junior Justin Jaime.
- Manhattan scored two goals - one in the 73rd minute by Berti Fourrier and one in the 74th minute by Tristan Doran -Â to take a 2-1 lead.
- Freshman Stefan Copetti responded with the tying goal in the 80th minute on another assist from Jaime.
- Jaime rode his momentum and scored the game-winner with six seconds left in regulation off an assist from Skylar Conway.

- Allen Gavilanes is right behind him with eight, and has recorded two goals and a team-high four assists.
