Red Foxes Seek to Bounce Back Against the Broncs

LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey - With the regular season winding down, Marist men's soccer (6-7, 3-3 MAAC) and Rider (6-5-2, 3-2-2 MAAC) are both fighting for a spot in the playoffs as they meet Saturday afternoon. Kick off is set for 1 p.m., with the Red Foxes coming off of a narrow loss to MAAC leader Saint Peter's, while the Broncs most recently picked up a win over Siena.

Last Time Out
  • Marist was defeated by Saint Peter's 3-2 in overtime on Wednesday night.
  • Huib Achterkamp notched both goals for the Foxes over a six minute span. One came off an assist from Allen Gavilanes, while the other was a result of a penalty kick.
  • Marist climbed out of an 0-2 deficit to force overtime, but fell just short of upsetting the top team in the conference.
