Marist Football Falls At San Diego

Toreros Pull Away Late For 31-7 Victory

 
SAN DIEGO, California – The Marist football team dropped a Pioneer Football League contest at San Diego by a score of 31-7 on Saturday afternoon at Torero Stadium.
 
Summary
  • The first score of the game was a 40-yard touchdown pass from San Diego's Reid Sinnett to Alex Spadone 2:46 into the contest.
  • In the second quarter, the Toreros' Michael Armstead returned a punt 45 yards to the Marist 49. On the next play, Sinnett connected with Spadone on a 49-yard touchdown as San Diego took a 14-0 lead.
