POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (2-5 overall, 2-2 Pioneer Football League) returns home to Tenney Stadium on Saturday for a PFL contest against Butler (2-6, 1-3). Kickoff is set for noon.

Hunter Cobb following his breakout performance at Davidson last Saturday (178 rushing yards, two touchdowns). Cobb was also honored by Uplifting Athletes following his performance.

- Marist earned a 27-21 road victory at Davidson.
- Red-shirt junior linebacker Grant Dixon had nine tackles, including two for loss and a sack. Red-shirt junior safety Justice Seales had a career-high 10 tackles.
- The Red Foxes committed zero turnovers for the first time this season.

- Marist is 3-1 all-time against Butler. This is the first meeting between the teams since 2016. The road team has won three of the four contest in the series.
- Marist enters the contest ranked 17th in the Football Championship Subdivision in Red Zone defense.
