Red Foxes Defeat Lipscomb for Fifth-Straight Win

KISSIMMEE, Florida - Marist women's basketball (5-0) swept the MAAC/ASUN Challenge with a 74-63 win over Lipscomb (1-5). With their fifth victory to start the season, the Red Foxes have matched their program record of season-opening wins from 2018.

The game was tightly contested through the first half, but the Red Foxes outscored the Bisons 24-6 in the third to build a lead that would not be given back.

Once again, three Red Foxes reached double-digit scoring. Grace Vander Weide recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists, while Rebekah Hand and Alana Gilmer scored 24 and 16 respectively.
