Marist Football Defeated At Dayton

Day Throws For 262 Yards, Three Touchdowns

DAYTON, Ohio – The Marist football team was defeated at Dayton by a score of 59-35 in a Pioneer Football League on Saturday at Welcome Stadium.
 
Summary
  • The game's first score came on a one-yard touchdown pass from Jack Cook to Jay Vallie at the 4:50 mark of the first quarter.
  • Marist answered with a touchdown on its next drive, a 10-yard pass from Austin Day to Sean Gaffney with 1:04 left in the first period.
  • Cook then threw touchdown passes on three straight drives in the second quarter. The first two went to Adam Trautman, and the third was a 59-yard play to Ryan Skibinski.
