POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team (11-14 overall, 6-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) returns to action on Sunday afternoon, when the Red Foxes head to New Jersey to face Monmouth (10-17, 9-5). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

- Marist earned its third straight win with a 63-61 triumph at Quinnipiac on Friday, Feb. 15.
- Austin Williams led the Red Foxes with 14 points, followed by Brian Parker with 12. Both Williams and Parker shot 6-for-8 from the field, and Parker tied a season high with six assists. –
- The Red Foxes led for 38:35 of the contest and held the Bobcats to a season low in scoring in MAAC play.
- Marist committed a season-low six turnovers.
- The Hawks are coming off an 81-72 defeat at Rider in their last outing on Friday, Feb. 15. Prior to that, Monmouth had won four straight.
- Ray Salnave leads the Hawks in scoring at 12.3 points per game, followed by Deion Hammond at 11.8.
- Monmouth leads the MAAC in field goal percentage defense (.426).
- Head coach King Rice is in his eighth season leading the program.
- Marist has set a season low in turnovers each of the last two games (seven vs. Niagara, Feb. 8; six at Quinnipiac, Feb. 15).
- In their current three-game winning streak, the Red Foxes have an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.1 (51 assists - 17.0 per game, 24 turnovers - 8.0 per game) and have held the opposition to a .414 field goal percentage.
- Marist has held the opposition to under 40 percent shooting from the field six times this season, and is 6-0 in these games.
