- The Red Foxes dominated Canisius 85-44 on Tuesday, February 19th. Red-shirt junior Grace Vander Weide led the way with 18 points and six assists. She shot 7-11 from the floor and 3-5 from three, while grabbing five boards.
- Sophomore Willow Duffell followed with 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
- Junior Rebekah Hand added 12 points and led the team in rebounds with seven.
- Senior Lovisa Henningsdottir scored 12 points off the bench, all from three-point range, and guarded the rim with three blocks.
- Every active Red Fox saw the floor for at least 10 minutes, and all scored at least one point. As a team, Marist shot 56.4% from the floor, 50.0% from three, and 78.6% from the charity stripe.                    Â
- Quinnipiac erased a 16-point first quarter deficit to complete a comeback win at Rider on Thursday, February 21st.
- Paula Strautmane led the Bobcats with 17 points and six rebounds.
- Aryn McClure and Jen Fay were also in double figures with 16 and 11, respectively.
- Taylor Herd added nine off the bench, all from three-point range.          Â
- When the Red Foxes hosted Quinnipiac on Thursday, January 10th, Quinnipiac won 76-69.
- The Bobcats had five players in double figures, led by Taylor Herd with 18.
- Marist recorded four players in double figures, propelled by Lovisa Henningsdottir with 16. She shot 5-6 from the floor and a season-high 4-5 from three.
- Rebekah Hand nearly posted a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
- Grace Vander Weide has emerged as an elite passer in the MAAC this season. The point guard from West Des Moines, Iowa leads the MAAC in assists (122), assists per game (4.7), and assist to turnover ratio (1.8).
- Coming off of a career-high 18 points vs Fairfield, Vander Weide has seen her shooting numbers increase as well. Last year she shot 40.0% from the floor, this year she's up to 49.6%. The guard's three-point percentage improved even more, from 28.6% last year to 43.8% this year.
With just two regular-season games left, the Red Foxes will travel to the Jersey Shore to take on Monmouth on Thursday, February 28th in the final road game of the season. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m on ESPN+.
