Women's Basketball Looks to Even the Score at Manhattan

The Red Foxes Aim to Continue Perfect Road Record in Riverdale

RIVERDALE, New York - Marist women's basketball (16-7, 8-3 MAAC) will seek redemption at Manhattan (6-14, 4-5 MAAC) on Thursday, Feb. 7. The second game of the season series begins at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes defeated Siena (9-13, 5-6 MAAC) 73-58 to sweep the season series on Feb. 1.
  • Four players reached double-digit scoring, highlighted by Willow Duffell with a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double along with a career-high four blocks.
  • Grace Vander Weide had her most well-rounded game of the season, tallying nine points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and a steal.

  • Rebekah Hand leads the NCAA in free-throw percentage (96.4). She made 62 consecutive free throws between Nov. 18 and Jan. 30 for the fourth longest streak in NCAA history.
  • As a team, Marist ranks 13th in the NCAA in FT % (76.8).
  • Alana Gilmer (41.7), Hand (40.6), and Sarah Barcello (39.0) rank first, fourth and fifth in the MAAC in three-point percentage.
