Women's Basketball Gets Ready for Rider

The Red Foxes Take it to the Broncs in Second Matchup of Season

LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey - Marist women's basketball (17-7, 9-3 MAAC) looks to get even at Rider (12-9, 8-2 MAAC) on Saturday, Feb. 9. The game will feature the MAAC No. 2 and 3 teams and begins at 2 p.m. on ESPN3.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes snapped Manhattan's win streak (6-15, 4-6 MAAC) on Thursday night, 62-51, to even up the season series.
  • Rebekah Hand tallied her third double-double of the season with 21 points, 10 rebounds and an assist.
  • Grace Vander Weide contributed 12 points, five rebounds and two assists in the redemption game.
SCOUTING THE BRONCS
  • Rider is coming off of a win over Monmouth (8-13, 4-6 MAAC) on Thursday night.
  • The Broncs defeated Marist at McCann on Jan. 30 to hand them their third MAAC loss of the season.
  • Stella Johnson continues to be one of the top players in the conference, averaging 20.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.0 steals.
