POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Western New York for a pair of matches. The two teams will face Niagara on March 23 and St. Bonaventure on March 24.

The women dropped a close match to Providence 4-3 at Cross Court. The match came down to the wire, with the last point from the sixth singles match serving as the decisive point.
Amy Galloway fought hard but came up a little short in securing the match.
The men closed out a three match weekend with a 4-3 victory over The Citadel.
Christopher Gladden went a perfect 3-0 in singles play for the weekend, earning MAAC Player of the Week honors in the process.

The women are 2-10 on the season and are 0-1 in conference play after a 4-3 loss to Quinnipiac last month. The Purple Eagles are searching for their first home victory.
The men are seeking their first victory of the season after starting out 0-8. The have one MAAC game under their belt, a 7-0 loss to Quinnipiac.

The women are 4-12 with all four wins coming at home. Prior to taking on Marist, the Bonnies will face Colgate, an opponent Marist dismantled 7-0. The Bonnies boast a young squad with four of the members of the team being freshmen.
The men are 6-8 on the season and have won the last three. Indra Patwardhan has been one of the top players for the Bonnies, posting a 4-2 record in second singles play and securing an A10 player of the week honor for the season.

Both teams will face Siena on March 30 at noon at the Tennis Pavilion. This will also serve as the men's home opener.
