Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist men's tennis defeated Siena 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the Marist Tennis Pavilion. With the win, Marist improves to 2-0 in conference play and reach .500 for the first time this season at 7-7 overall.
The Red Foxes swept all three doubles spots, as the teams of Moreno/Sowinski, Gladden/Oxner, and Schouten/Darrington fought hard to secure the doubles point.
Marist opened up singles play strong, winning the first four singles spots in a row. After dropping the fifth spot,
Kian Yazdi secured a victory with a 7-5, 7-6 victory over M Bellino. Piotr faced the most difficult match-up of the day, needing to play a tie breaker set to win. But Piotr survived a gauntlet match and defeated his opponent 7-6, 1-6, 10-8.

Marist has a quick turnaround and will host Army West point in an afternoon non-conference match on Tuesday, April 2. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
