Men's Tennis to Hit the Court Against Army

Match to be Played at Army

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's tennis team will play another out of conference match against local rival Army tomorrow at 2:30 PM. Originally scheduled to be played at home, the match will take place at Army due to impending weather issues.

LAST TIME OUT
The men picked up their fourth win in a row and second MAAC win with a 6-1 victory over Siena to open home play on March 30. The Red Foxes crushed the Saints in doubles to earn the doubles point and won five of the six singles matches to remain perfect in conference play. Coming off a MAAC Player of the Week Award, Lars Schouten had one of the best outings for Marist, winning his singles match in the first spot 6-1, 6-0 and playing flawless tennis in the third doubles for a 6-0 win.

SCOUTING ARMY
The Black Knights are 9-12 overall and a perfect 4-0 in Patriot League play. All four Patriot League wins took place from March 22-23 with Bucknell as the only team to register a point against Army. They are 9-6 when playing at home. David Mitchell and David Gorshein have won 11th doubles matches as partners.

UP NEXT
The men will play their final non-conference match at UConn on Saturday, April 6 at noon.
