Track & Field Programs Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Men and Women Finish with 14th and 16th Highest GPAs in the Nation

chNEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - The Marist men's and women's track and field teams each received All-Academic Team Honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced Monday afternoon.

To be honored by the USTFCCCA, a team must have a 3.00 or higher cumulative team GPA.

Out of 139 men's programs honored, the Red Fox men finished with the 14th highest GPA overall. Out of 227 women's teams, Marist was ranked 16th.

For the outdoor season, the Marist men led the MAAC with 21 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic team. The women recorded the second most honorees with 22. Marist Track and field boasted four CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees as well.
