Women’s Soccer Turned Aside at New Hampshire

Red Foxes return home to Tenney Stadium on Sunday, September 8.

DURHAM, New Hampshire – New Hampshire rattled off four first-half goals to defeat Marist 5-0 on Thursday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
 
The Red Foxes conclude their season-opening, four-game road trip at 2-2. UNH jumps to 3-2 on the season.
 
THE SUMMARY
  • Junior goalkeeper Abigail Renaud saw her first action in the fourth minute, making a save on a low-angle shot from Ally Reynolds.
  • Reynolds got revenge via the game's first goal in the 16th minute.
  • Though Renaud had an excellent point-blank save in the 24th minute, UNH notched its second goal on the rebound.
  • The Wildcats then scored in the 34th, 38th, and 57th minutes.
  • Coming on in the second half, sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Kelchner in the 60th minute.
