Women’s Basketball Hosts Canisius In MAAC Opener

Red Foxes Have Won 15 Consecutive Conference Lidlifters

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Women's Basketball ignites its 24th season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) on Friday, December 11th when it hosts Canisius from McCann Arena at 7 p.m.

  • Friday's game airs on ESPN3, beginning at the top of the hour. Geoff Brault and Steve Eggink are set to broadcast their 14th and seventh seasons broadcasting Marist women's hoops, respectively.

  • Marist opened up the 2020-21 season with an 83-55 triumph at Army West Point on December 5th.
  • The Red Foxes shot 21-of-29 (72.4 percent) from the field in the second half, outscoring the Black Knights 52-33 in that span.
