ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – After two days of competition at the Eastern Conference Athletic Conference Championships, the men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both currently sitting in second place.
The Naval Academy is the leader on both sides of the bracket. Navy leads Marist's women by a score of 217.5-165, and the Navy men lead Marist's men 194-154.

Meanwhile, the diving portion of the competition ended today.
Esabelle Gervasio won the 1-meter diving event, while
Raislan Aiken took home the gold medal in the 3-meter diving event. After winning both diving events today, and both diving events yesterday, Gervasio and Aiken were named ECAC Championship Women's and Men's Divers of the Meet.

- Ahmed Sallam finished with a time of 22.70 in the 50-yard back portion of the 200-yard medley relay, setting a new program record. He also finished in seventh in the 100-yard back 50.63.Â
- Sean Doran and Ante Dany both finished ninth in the 100-yard back and 200-yard free, respectively.Â
- Adam Kapusta took fourth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 3:58.52. Jackson Klarsfeld was right behind him in sixth place and a time of 4:01.18.Â
- The team consisting of Sallam, Jackson Klarsfeld, Murray Coueslant, and Ethan McCormac finished fourth in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:31.18. Â

The competition wraps up tomorrow with one more round of prelims at 9 am. The finals tomorrow will take place at 4 p.m. The events include: 200-yard back, 100-yard free, 200-yard breast, 200-yard fly, and the 400-yard medley relay.
