Marist Football Signing Day

Red Foxes’ Class Addresses Needs, Comes From Nine States

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football program is looking forward to welcoming the Class of 2024 in the weeks to come.

In accordance with NCAA rules, the Marist Athletics Department will make an official announcement when the entire class has accepted a signed written offer of institutional admission.

Marist's incoming class includes a total of 28 student-athletes from nine states (New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Texas, and South Carolina). Position-wise, it consists of five defensive linemen, four offensive linemen, four safeties, four running backs, three linebackers, three cornerbacks, three wide receivers, one quarterback, and one tight end.

"It's a great group," head coach Jim Parady said. "This class has plenty of athleticism, and it helps fill needs we have in the program. The recruiting coaches did a good job of building relationships from last spring until now. We look forward to seeing this group grow as students and as athletes, taking advantage of our beautiful new facility."

The 2020 season will mark Marist's 12th as a member of the Pioneer Football League. The Red Foxes won a share of the league title in the 2013 season.
