Marist Falls at Rider

Jones Blocks Career-High Six Shots

LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey – The Marist men's basketball team fell to Rider, 76-64, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Friday night at Alumni Gymnasium.
 
Summary
  • Rider scored the game's first five points, but Marist answered with a 6-0 run.
  • A 9-0 run enabled the Broncs to take a 10-point lead at the 9:33 mark of the first half.
  • Raheim Sullivan's three-pointer at the 4:59 mark of the first half brought Marist to within two, but Rider immediately answered with a 7-0 run.
  • The Broncs' lead reached as high as 12 in the first half, and they took a 36-26 lead to the locker room.
