POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist junior Tyler Wenzel was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Male Diver of the Week on Wednesday.
 
Wenzel won both boards as the Red Foxes earned a 183-106 season-opening victory over Canisius on Friday. He earned a score of 217.27 in the 3-meter dive, and a score of 205.12 in the 1-meter dive.
 
As a freshman in the 2019-20 season, Wenzel was named Rookie Diver of the Meet at the MAAC Championships.
 
The Red Foxes return to action on Thursday at Fordham. The men's and women's teams take on the Rams at 6 p.m., and the meet will be televised on ESPN+.
