POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The top-seeded Marist men's soccer team (12-6-2) hosts fifth-seeded Rider (10-7-2) in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship match on Sunday at Tenney Stadium. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. with a berth to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

- Four of the MAAC's five major award winners will be in Sunday's match:
- Goalkeeper of the Year (Samuel Ilin, Marist)
- Defensive Player of the Year (Huib Achterkamp, Marist)
- Coach of the Year (Matt Viggiano, Marist)
- Offensive Player of the Year (Zaki Alibou, Rider)
- When the teams met in the regular season, Marist prevailed 4-2 at Tenney Stadium on Oct. 13. That started an eight-match unbeaten streak (7-0-1) that the Red Foxes carry into Sunday's contest.
- Marist has recorded shutouts in both of its matches in the MAAC Championship, and carries a scoreless streak of 190:53 into Sunday.
- Marist is seeking its fourth MAAC championship in program history. The Red Foxes previously won the title in 2000, 2004, and 2005.
