Men’s Basketball Defeated at Princeton

Ituka Leads Red Foxes with 13 Points

PRINCETON, New Jersey – The Marist men's basketball team lost 80-61 on the road to Princeton of the Ivy League on Wednesday night to fall to 1-2 on the season.

  • Princeton got out to an early 5-0 lead, but Ricardo Wright answered with four straight points to get the Red Foxes started.
  • At the under 12 media timeout, Princeton led Marist 16-9.
  • Princeton continued its hot shooting midway through the first half, knocking down three more from deep to give themselves a 25-13 lead.
  • At the under four media timeout, the Tigers maintained a 34-20 lead over Marist.
