Men’s Basketball Resumes Non-Conference Play at Binghamton

Red Foxes Seeking Second Straight Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team (3-4) returns to action on Wednesday night with a non-conference contest against America East foe Binghamton (2-5). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

  • Binghamton last played on Saturday. The Bearcats lost a five-point game, 68-63, at Patriot League Preseason favorite Boston University. Tyler Bertram (11.6 ppg) leads four Bearcats who average at least 10 points per game.
 
MAAC Rookie of the Week
  • Freshman guard Jao Ituka was named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Monday.
  • Ituka averaged 13.0 points in just over 14 minutes per game this past week. This included a career-high 19 points in 19 minutes against Iona on Dec. 1.
  • Ituka shot .556 (10-for-18) from the field and .857 (6-for-7) from the free-throw line.
  • This is Ituka's first career MAAC weekly award, and the first for a Red Fox this season.
