Late Run Propels Saint Peter’s Over Marist

Four Red Foxes Score In Double Figures

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey – The Marist men's basketball team was defeated by Saint Peter's, 59-54, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Friday night.

  • Jordan Jones scored six points in the first 8:44, and his layup gave Marist a 9-8 lead at the 11:16 mark.
  • Saint Peter's answered with an 8-0 run, as Marist was held scoreless for 4:33.
  • Thanks to a 7-0 run, Marist tied the score at 18 as Saint Peter's was held scoreless for 5:33.
  • Two free throws by KC Ndefo with 25 seconds left in the first half gave the Peacocks a 20-18 lead going into halftime.
