POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's tennis team starts their 2022 spring season Sunday, Jan. 30th at Army. The match is scheduled for 9 a.m. The match was intitially scheduled for Saturday before a winter storm pushed it to Sunday. THe previously planned match against St. John's is postponed to a later date.

- The Marist men's tennis program was picked to finish fifth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- The Red Foxes earned 23 points in the poll and sees Monmouth (seven first-place votes, 49 points), Fairfield (41 points), Quinnipiac (34 points) and Siena (26 points) ranked ahead of them.

- Last Season, the men's tennis program finished 2-1 in dual matches with a 2-0 MAAC record.Â
- The Red Foxes only competed in three dual meets due to a campus wide COVID -19 pause.
- Despite the shortened season, the Red Foxes earned the four seed in the MAAC Championships.
- Army men's tennis began their season January 15, they are currently 1-2 overall.Â
- The Black Knights secured their first win of the season in their final match of the Arthur Ashe Invitational against Illinois State University with a score of 4-3.Â
- In five singles, Vishnu Bodavula defeated Arvid Hjalte, 6-3,6-3 and doubles partner Nathan Jose beat Dominick Cuchran, 7-5, 6-1, in six singles.Â
