HAMILTON, New York - Despite being undermanned, the Marist women's tennis team had an excellent weekend competing in the Colgate Invite, which featured Siena and Hamilton besides the host school in the hidden duel format.
Every one of the seven Marist players reached the winners' circle over the course of the two days, which was highlighted by the two team wins over Hamilton in both singles and doubles. Freshman
Cloe Clements continued her excellent play in her first semester of collegiate competition with three wins in singles and doubles, a win mark equaled by sophomore
Lea Lambert, who had her best results of the fall campaign.
"Considering we were without our number one player due to injury and everyone was playing out of position, this weekend's results are very encouraging as we conclude the fall season and get ready for the spring schedule and MAAC play," said
