POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The men's and women's cross country programs will travel to New Britain, Connecticut to compete in the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday afternoon. This meet will serve as a final tune-up before the MAAC Championships the following week. The first race is set to start at 3:30 p.m. 

• Both the men and women are coming off a good effort at the IC4A/ECAC Championships last Friday.

• The men's team placed 16th out of 31 teams as they were led by junior Chris Paxis and sophomore Gabriel Rodriguez who each ran under 26 minutes on the 8km course.

• The women's team placed 20th out of 34 teams, led by freshman Parker O'Brien who placed 60th.

• Following Friday's meet both teams will travel to Colonie, New York to compete in the MAAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29.
