POUGHKEEPSIE, NY- The Marist volleyball team fell to Siena in four sets on Saturday at home, as the Red Foxes fell to 6-2 in conference play.
Siena prevailed by scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 26-24.

- Marist got off to a hot start as the Red Foxes were able to win set one by a score of 25-18 as Gabrielle Heller and Jordan Newblatt got it done for the Red Foxes
- Set two saw the Saints and Red Foxes juggled back and forth for the lead. However, the Saints were able to pull out the win by a score of 25-18.
- In set three Siena got off to a hot start, but the Red Foxes were able to battle back and close the lead. However, the Saints were able to close out the set by a score of 25-20
- In set four it came down to wire as the Saints and Red Foxes had to go into extra points. The Saints were able to close out the final set by a score of 26-24.
- Sasha van der Merwe finished the match with a team high 16 kills.
- McKinley fox also had a strong outing as she finished the match with 38 assists.

- The Red Foxes travel to Fairfield, Connecticut as they take on conference opponent Fairfield Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.
