Niagara Falls, NY -The Marist volleyball team swept Niagara in three sets on Saturday as the Red Foxes win their fifth straight match completing the regular season sweep against Niagara.

Marist was able to cap of the road victory as the by scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.
 

Summary

• The Red Foxes got off to a hot start, winning the first set by a score of 25-15.
• In set two the Red Foxes were able to jump out to an early lead and never looked back as the Red Foxes won set two by a score of 25-18 with big contributions from Sasha van der Merwe as she finished the match with 17 kills and 6 digs.
• Set three saw the Red Foxes and the Saints juggle for the lead, however Marist was able to close out the set with the help of van der Merwe's back-to-back aces as Marist closed out the match as they won set three by a score of 25-21.
• The Red Foxes were able to receive big contributions from their outside hitters as Jordan Newblatt and Sasha van der Merwe combined for a total of 32 kills on the match.
