BUFFALO, New York -The Marist volleyball team swept Canisius in three sets on Sunday as the Red Foxes win their sixth straight match to complete the regular season.

Marist was able to cap of the road victory by scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

- The Red Foxes scored the match's first four points, and used runs of 5-0 and 4-0 later in the first set to take it by a score of 25-18.
- In set two the Red Foxes were able to jump out to an early lead; however, Canisius was able to battle to keep it close, but the Red Foxes won set two by a score of 25-19.
- Canisius scored the first three points of the third set, but Marist answered by scoring the next six. The Red Foxes never trailed the rest of the set, and prevailed 25-18 to close out the match.
- Marist has not dropped a set in its last four matches. The Red Foxes have won 14 straight sets dating back to Oct. 29.
- Marist's six-match winning streak is its longest since 2014, when the Red Foxes had separate winning streaks of six in a row and 10 in a row.
- Marist earned the #2 seed in the MAAC Championships, the program's best since 2016.
- Marist's overall win total (18) is its highest since 2015, and its conference win total (14) is its best since 2014.
- The Red Foxes will travel to Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the MAAC Championships.
- The championship will run from Wednesday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 19.
- Marist's first match will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 against either Rider or Manhattan.
