Men’s Basketball Drops Non-Conference Game at Lehigh

Cooper Scores Game-High 16 Points

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – The Marist men's basketball team fell in a non-conference game at Lehigh by a score of 64-54 at Stabler Arena on Wednesday night.
 
Summary
  • Marist held Lehigh without a field goal for the first 6:47 and jumped out to a 5-2 lead, but the Mountain Hawks responded with a 15-0 run.
  • Lehigh led by as much as 17 in the first half, but the Red Foxes scored the final four points of the half on two free throws by Anthony Cooper and a layup by Jaden Daughtry. Lehigh took a 29-16 lead to the locker room.
  • A 9-0 run, which featured three-pointers by Daughtry, Kam Farris, and Isaiah Brickner, cut Lehigh's lead to six with 16:23 remaining.
  • Lehigh countered with a 14-0 run to extend its lead to 20, as the Red Foxes went scoreless for 5:49.
