POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's tennis team picked up their first win this season against Fordham, and are looking for a second one against Hofstra University. The match will be at Hofstra on Sunday, February 27th at 3 p.m. in Hempstead, New York.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• In doubles, the Red Foxes took the double's point with wins in the first position from Dylan Friedman and Christian Mills, and in the third position from Jack Sequerth and Carlos Vasquez.
• In singles, the Red Foxes took wins in the first, second, and third position to win the match.
• Dylan Friedman won his match in first position, 6-4, 6-2, and Gabriel Castillo won his match in second position to Fordman's Juan Paredes.
• To secure the win, Christian Mills won his match in third position, 7-5, 6-3.
• In a closely fought match, the Red Foxes defeated Fordham 4-3.

 

SCOUTING HOFSTRA

• This season, The Hofstra Pride are 2-2. Their last game was a 2-5 loss against Lehigh on Sunday, February 20th, and they have another match before Marist on Thursday, February 24th against Rider.
• Since 2008, the Red Foxes have gone 6-1 against Hofstra, with their last match against the Pride resulting in a 2-5 loss for the Red Foxes.
