POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist water polo team is ranked #25 in this weeks Collegiate Water Polo Association national rankings. 

The ranking comes after a successful weekend at the Santa Clara Invitational in California, where the Red Foxes went 3-1 on the weekend. After defeating Monterey Bay and Santa Clara on the first day of the invitational, the Red Foxes dropped the first game on Sunday to Pacific, but bounced back with an overtime victory against Cal State East Bay. Freshman Madeline Schultz received Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for her performances at the Santa Clara Invitational.

Marist will host the Courtney Fisher Invite this Saturday, February 26th. The Red Foxes will host Mercyhurst at 10:30 am, and then will host St. Francis Brooklyn at 6:00 pm. Stay tuned to @MaristWP on Twitter and @Marist_WaterPolo on Instagram for updates throughout the event.
