HAMDEN, Connecticut - After a strong second half from the Bobcats, the Marist women's basketball team fell to Quinnipiac, 61-50, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game Thursday evening at the People's United Bank Arena. The Red Foxes record overall moves to 6-13 and 4-7 in MAAC play. The Bobcats are 13-7 overall and 8-3 in conference play.

- Quinnipiac took an early lead with a score of 10-5. With five minutes remaining, a jumper from Julianna Bonilla began a 13-0 run for the Red Foxes, to gain their first lead of the game.
- Marist continued to add to their lead ending the first quarter with a six-point lead, 21-15.
- In the second quarter, the Bobcats chipped away at the Red Foxes lead. Scoring their last basket of the half with 1:20 remaining. Marist ended the half leading by a basket, 31-29.
- Marist started the second half with a quick 5-0 run on Quinnipiac. The Bobcats regained the lead, going on 7-2 run over six minutes to finish out the third quarter with a score of 43-41, Quinnipiac's advantage.
- Quinnipiac built on its lead with a strong fourth quarter, going on a 14-1 run over 6:28 with eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
- Quinnipiac held onto their lead to take the win against Marist, with a score of 61-50.

- For the game, Marist shot 36 percent (21-of-58) from the field and 14 percent (3-of-21) from three.
- Quinnipiac shot 45 percent (25-of-55) from the field and 18 percent (4-of-22) from three for the game.
- Trinasia Kennedy led Marist with 17 points and was the only Red Fox in double digits.
- Kendall Krick collected eight rebounds and seven points.
- The Bobcats outrebounded the Red Foxes 42-22, thirty of the rebounds for Quinnipiac were defensive boards.
- Quinnipiac had two players scoring in double digits, Mikala Morris (15), Amani Free (12).
