POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's tennis team will be welcoming Bucknell University to Poughkeepsie for its first home match of the Spring 2022 season. The match which will take place on Saturday, February 12th at 4:45 pm. at the Cross Court Tennis Facility.
 

Last Time Out

• In doubles, Lehigh University swept the Red Foxes, with Dylan Friedman and Christian Mills losing in the first position 6-2, Gabriel Castilo and Augusto Gonzalez Bonorino falling in second position 6-1, and Jack Sequerth and Carlos Vazquez losing in third position by a very close margin of 7-6.
• In Singles, Sophomore Gabriel Castilo won his match in second position against Lehigh's Matt Kleiman, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
• Also in singles, Senior Dylan Friedman narrowly lost against Lehigh's Zach Elliot, 7-6, 2-6, 4-6.
• Unfortunately, the Red Foxes lost singles, ultimately losing the match to Lehigh.
   

Scouting Bucknell

• So far this season, the Bucknell men's tennis team is 0-5. They have not played a match at home.
• Bucknell has yet to play an in-conference match this year. Their strongest opponent this season was #13 UNC.
• Marist is 3-0 against Bucknell all-time, with the last matchup coming in February of 2020. Marist won that matchup by a score of 4-1.
• The match against Marist will be Bucknell's seventh of the season.
