POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's lacrosse team travels to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado, to face off against Air Force in their fifth game of the year. The game is scheduled to start at noon on Saturday, March 5^th.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• Marist has been playing great competition in the early goings of this season, competition that will only make them better as they begin MAAC play.
• The Red Foxes lost to Bucknell last weekend by a score of 15-7.
• Bucknell dominated Marist in shots 53-31 and face-offs won 17-9.
• Vito Musso leads the Red Foxes this year with ten points, coming from his seven goals and three assists.

 

VS. AIR FORCE

• Marist is 2-4 all-time against Air Force. Their last matchup came in February of 2019, with Air Force coming out on top 12-6.
• Jojo Pirreca netted two goals in their last contest, the first two of his career as a Red Foxes.
• Air Force won the shot battle 43-22 (21-12 shots on net).
• Air Force is 1-4 this season. Three of their losses came against ranked opponents (Virginia, Denver, and Jacksonville).
