POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist water polo team is ranked #24 in this weeks Collegiate Water Polo Association national rankings, which released Wednesday. 

Last week, the Red Foxes were ranked as the 25th best team in the country. The improvement comes after a 2-0 weekend at the Courtney Fisher Invite, with dominant wins over Mercyhurst and St. Francis-Brooklyn. Marist outscored their opponents 43-11 on the weekend, and allowed a season low three goals against Mercyhurst. 

Marist will head to Boston, Massachusetts this weekend for two games at the Harvard Invite. The Red Foxes begin the invite with a matchup against Cal State East Bay starting at 10:15 a.m., followed by a tough matchup against California Lutheran, which is set to start at 2:15 p.m. Stay tuned to @MaristWP on Twitter and @Marist_Waterpolo on Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.
