Football Passes Halfway Point of Spring Ball

Spring Game Set for 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team is now three-and-a-half week into its spring practices, with the Spring Game looming in just over two weeks.

Jim Parady, who will be heading into his 31st year as head coach in the 2022 season, is pleased by the progress the Red Foxes have made since the conclusion of the 2021 season.

"I have been very impressed with the energy and focus that this group has brought to training in the winter program," Parady said. "The energy and focus has continued in our first nine practices of spring ball. The team has progressed with their assignments, and we have seen improved play. Both sides of the ball have had success and we have played with physicality."

Following a break for Easter weekend, the Red Foxes will resume practice on Wednesday, April 20. That will be the first of five practices prior to the spring game on Friday, April 29. Included in these practices is Junior Day, which will be held on Saturday, April 23.

Spring Game Time Set
The Spring Game is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29 at Tenney Stadium.

The game is free to attend and open to the public.

"We look forward to the Spring Game and hope to see many of our students, alumni, and the local community members come to the game," Parady said.
