HAMILTON, New York - The Marist men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw on Monday night against Colgate in their second non-conference game of the season.
Jared Juleau scored the lone goal for the Red Foxes.

- Through a competitive first 35 minutes, Marist and Colgate were still knotted at zero.
- At halftime, neither team was able to find the back of the net despite the Red Foxes leading in shots, 2-0.
- Just four minutes into the second half, Colgate threatened with a corner kick, but Marist was able to hold strong strong on defense.
- In the 64th minute, Jared Juleau was able to capitalize off a deflection and find the back of the net, giving the Red Foxes a 1-0 lead.
- In the 87th minute, Colgate was able to find the equalizer.
- Colgate led Marist in shots (9-8), but Marist led in shots on goal (3-2).
- The Raiders had the advantage in corner kicks, 9-3.Â
- Jared Juleau scored his first career goal for the Red Foxes.
"Another hard fought battle. Thought we were a little unlucky to concede but Colgate is a good team and we need to take the lessons from this game with us through the season. I was proud of our work ethic and focus tonight. We'll use the week off to get better, healthy, and more game fit so we can attack the challenges that lie ahead in our schedule. We definitely hope to see the Red Fox Nation out next Monday night for our home opener."
