POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The non-conference schedule for the Marist men's basketball team was released on Tuesday.
 
The Red Foxes will play a total of nine non-conference games. Five will take place at McCann Arena, and as previously announced, Marist will travel to London for a game against Maine.
 

Wednesday, Nov. 9

American at Marist

• Teams met in last year's season opener.
• This is American's first trip to Marist since Dec. 7, 1999, which was a 72-63 win for the Red Foxes.

 

Saturday, Nov. 12

Binghamton at Marist

• Last year, Marist won at Binghamton by a score of 64-51 on Dec. 8.
• Marist is 3-0 against Binghamton the past two seasons.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 16

Marist at Lehigh

• Teams last played in the 2018-19 season.
• Eighth meeting between the teams all-time.

 

Saturday, Nov. 19

Princeton at Marist

• This is Princeton's second trip to Marist all-time, and first since Jan. 6, 2010.
• Fourth meeting between the teams all-time.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 22

Marist at Maryland-Eastern Shore

• This is Marist's first trip to Maryland-Eastern Shore.
• In the only prior meeting between the teams, the Red Foxes prevailed by a score of 85-54 on Dec. 5, 1986 in the first round of the Pepsi-Marist Classic.

 

Saturday, Nov. 26

Marist at Bucknell

• This is the 11^th meeting between the teams all-time, the most of anyone on Marist's non-conference schedule.
• This is the first meeting between the teams since Nov. 14, 2014. The Red Foxes and Bison had played in four straight seasons leading into that contest.

 

Monday, Nov. 28

Columbia at Marist

• Last year, Marist earned an 82-67 win on Nov. 12, 2021
• Columbia's last trip to Marist was on Nov. 10, 2018. The Red Foxes won, 82-76, in what was John  Dunne's first victory as Marist's head coach.

 

Sunday, Dec. 4

Marist vs. Maine, London

• This game is part of the Basketball Hall of Fame London Showcase, and is the front end of a doubleheader that will precede a contest between Kentucky and Michigan.
• This is Marist's first overseas contest since participating in the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic in Northern Ireland in November of 2018.
• The teams last met on Dec. 16, 2012, which was a 94-69 win for the Red Foxes.

 

Saturday, Dec. 10

Boston University at Marist

• Last year, Marist prevailed by a score of 84-79 in overtime on Dec. 18, 2021.
• BU last played at Marist on Dec. 12, 2009.

 
Game times, as well as Marist's 20-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference schedule, will be released at a later date.
 
Marist is heading into its fifth season under the leadership of head coach John Dunne in the 2022-23 season.
