EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The Marist men's basketball team suffered a 59-55 loss to Mount St. Mary's in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Sunday at Knott Arena.
 

Summary

• Marist took an 8-5 lead four minutes in thanks to three-pointers from Patrick Gardner and Isaiah Brickner, and a steal and dunk from Jaden Daughtry.
• The Mount countered with an 8-0 run as Marist was held scoreless for 4:25.
• Mount St. Mary's led by as much as seven in the first half. The Mount led by six when Javon Cooley grabbed an offensive rebounds and drained a mid-range jumper to beat the halftime buzzer. Marist trailed 26-22 heading to the locker room.
• The Red Foxes knotted the game at 29 with 17:46 left on a three-pointer by Noah Harris. However, the Mount answered with a 7-0 run to tie its largest lead.
