Marist Falls at Home to Siena

Gardner Totals 18 Points, Seven Rebounds

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's basketball team fell to Siena by a score of 70-55 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon at McCann Arena.
 
Summary
 
  • Marist jumped out to an early 11-1 lead courtesy of an 8-0 run that was capped off by a Patrick Gardner free throw. The Red Foxes held the Saints without a field goal for the first 6:57.
  • The Saints countered with a quick 8-0 run of their own in less than a minute to make it 11-9 at the 12:20 mark.
  • Siena made six straight field goals to capture its first lead of the game as they led 17-15 with 7:47 remaining in the first half.
