POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist women's water polo team announced the 2023 season schedule. The Red Foxes look to win two MAAC championships in three years after winning the 2021 championship title.

The season consists of 37 games, including 13 conference games. MAAC play starts against Saint Francis College Brooklyn on March 18.

 

January

• Marist travels to Manoa for the Rainbow Invite. The Red Foxes compete against San Jose State, Loyola Marymount University, and Hawaii. The invite starts Jan 14 and concludes Jan. 15.
• Marist concludes January with the Hoosier Invite. From Jan. 28 to Jan. 29, the Red Foxes compete against McKendree University, Villanova, California State East Bay, and Indiana.  

 

February

 

• The Red Foxes start the month with the Bruno Classic. Marist competes against Harvard and Gannon University at Harvard on Feb. 4. The Bruno Classic finishes at Brown University, where the Red Foxes play Austin College and Bucknell University.
• Marist finishes the February schedule with the Bronco Invitational. Played in Santa Clara, California, the Red Foxes compete against San Jose State, East Bay, Santa Clara, and Cal State Northridge. The Bronco Invitational starts Feb. 18 and concludes Feb. 19.   

 

March

• The Red Foxes compete in the Wolverine Invitational to begin March. The invite starts March 4 and concludes March 5. Marist plays against Salem University, Bucknell, Saint Francis PA, and University of Michigan.
• Marist will travel to Arizona for the ASU Invitational. The invitational begins March 11 and Concludes March 12.
• Marist competes against California Baptist University on March 15. The game is slated for 2 p.m.
• Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play begins March 18 at the McCann Natatorium. Marist plays against Saint Francis College Brooklyn at 12 p.m.
• The home-stand continues March 19 against Siena and Mount Saint Mary's.
• Marist finishes off March with matches in Siena. The Red Foxes play Iona and Siena on March 25.

 

April

• Marist starts April with a tournament against MAAC opponents at VMI. The Red Foxes play Villanova, VMI, and La Salle starting April 1 and finishing April 2.
• The Red Foxes take on Wagner and LIU in single-game matchups on April 7 and April 8.
• Marist travels to Iona for a tournament starting April 15 and concluding April 16. The Red Foxes play against Iona, Mount Saint Mary's, and Saint Francis College Brooklyn.
• The MAAC Championships begin April 28 and conclude April 30. The championships take place at the McCann Natatorium.
