Alana Tavares (President & MAAC SAAC Chairperson)
"The purpose of SAAC is to realize the additional responsibilities and the unique challenges that student-athletes face and to help aid us in our quest for overall excellence. SAAC is here to address the physical, psychological, social, and academic needs of all our student-athletes while maintaining a focus on our mental well-being as young adults in a rapidly- changing world that requires so much of us. Even though we face these unique challenges, SAAC will always strive to provide our student-athletes with the highest level of resources, support, and guidance that we will need to ensure that we will excel in all aspects of our lives, for the present and for the future." - Alana Tavares
