POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's lacrosse team will host Binghamton for their home opener this upcoming Saturday, Feb. 11.  The game is scheduled to start at noon.

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes are coming off a 20-8 loss to Rutgers during a matchup this past weekend on Saturday, Feb. 4.
• James Lyons led the team with four points on three goals and one assist.
• Tyler Ammirato had a goal and an assist.
• Keenan DeRaeve, Jamison Embury, Jojo Pirreca and Sam Ferrel each added a goal.
• Noble Smith stopped a total of eight shots, ending the game with a .800 save percentage.
• Rutgers had the advantage on face-offs, winning 23-of-32. Rutgers also had a 44-26 advantage in ground balls.

SCOUTING BINGHAMTON

• The Bearcats will open their 2023 season at Marist.
• Binghamton was picked fifth for the 2023 America East Preseason Poll after finishing in fourth place last season.
• Although the Bearcats earned the No. 2 seed in the America East tournament, they were defeated 7-6 by the No. 3 seeded UMBC Retrievers in the semifinals.
• The Red Foxes have won the last six matchups against the Bearcats, including last year's game when Marist beat them 11-9 on the road.
