Men's Lacrosse Travels to Canisius

Red Foxes Look For Third Straight Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's lacrosse team travels to Buffalo to take on Canisius. The Red Foxes and the Golden Griffins face off at noon on Saturday, March 18.
 
Last Time Out
  • The Red Foxes defeated Wagner in their first conference matchup Saturday, 16-7.
  • Jamison Embury led the Red Foxes with five points, three goals and two assists.
  • Jake Deacy tallied his second career hat trick, and finished with four goals.
  • Aidan McCaffery and Kyle Stofko recorded two caused turnovers each.
  • Matt Fermo won 18-of-27 faceoffs against the Seahawks.
  • Along with tallying the win over Wagner, Noble Smith stopped 11 shots.
About Canisius
  • The Golden Griffins are currently 1-6 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
  • Canisius' lone victory was against St. Bonaventure, defeating the, 13-5.
  • Their first conference loss was against Quinnipiac by a single goal. 13-12.
  • Colin Kelly is leading the Griffs with 23 points. He has 20 goals and three assists.
