POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The awards continue to stack up for Marist baseball's 
Bayram Hot. The Freshman third baseman earned a spot on the Freshmen All-American Team, released by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Bayram Hot finished the season with a team-high .382 batting average for the Red Foxes. Hot also tallied 37 runs batted in, 14 doubles, and 11 steals during his freshman campaign.
Besides providing offense, Hot finished the season with a .942 fielding percentage and tallied only six errors.
Hot started the offseason earning multiple MAAC awards including a MAAC major award. Hot earned the second MAAC Rookie of the Year in program history with a historical season. Hot also earned a unanimous selection to the All-MAAC MAAC Rookie Team, and a spot on the All-MAAC Second Team.
Hot also received three MAAC Rookie of the Week honors during the 2023 season.
